This chair is design by Maria Westerberg. She gathered her friends T-shirt, jeans, even grandma’s curtain, formed together to make a full of memory chair. The T-shirt Chair is the winner of the Green Furniture Award 2011. It weaves together a meaningful story using worn textiles. This up-scaling of the classical ‘rag rug’ becomes a unique way of upholstering. The T-shirt Chair is also available as a plain frame so you can personalize it with your own worn out clothes, precious t-shirts and other textiles. In that way the T-shirt chair will evolve and collect your personal history over time.
