Wood Magazine Rack Console Table – Cappuccino Finish
I bought this bookshelf to temporarily hold our cookbooks in an area just off of our kitchen until I can find a more permanent storage solution for that area. I plan to use it for holding family albums in another room when that happens. The shelf more than meets my storage needs — it looks great, too.
Considering what I paid, I certainly can’t complain. The reviews I read about this product on this site and others indicated that the assembly of this shelf required two people. While it was challenging to do it by myself, I was able to make it happen on my own. I do wish the instructions read a bit differently, though. If I had the assembly to do over again, I would have switched around the front and back of the main L-shaped shelf so that fewer openings for assembly hardware were visible from the front. Put together according to the instructions, six holes are visible from the front. If I had switched the front side with the back, assembly of the product would not have been affected in any way and only two holes would be visible. Since I glued the shelves in place, I am going to try to mask the holes by using a marker of the same brown shade. Overall, though, I feel this shelf was definitely worth the money I paid for it.
